With regards to the article published in The Edge on 22 August 2024 titled “Capital A Secures USD 443M Revenue Bond to Strengthen AirAsia Fleet and Financials”, we wish to clarify that the draft Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) circular to shareholders of the Company for the proposed disposal of our aviation business has been submitted to Bursa Malaysia for their review and we currently await its clearance before issuing to the shareholders.

After receiving the requisite approval of our shareholders for the proposed disposal, the Company will then present its Regularisation Plan to exit PN17 status.
