Reference is made to the Company’s announcements on 14 May 2019, 4 October 2019 and 28 March 2022 respectively in relation to the suit filed by AirAsia Berhad, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, together with an affiliate of the Company, AirAsia X Berhad, where Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn. Bhd. (“MASSB”) is named as the respondent.

We wish to announce that MASSB has lodged an appeal against the dismissal of their striking out application. The Court of Appeal has fixed the Case Management for 23 May 2022.

Further announcements in respect of any material development on the matter will be made from time to time in compliance with the requirements of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
