Reference is made to the Company’s announcements on 14 May 2019 and 4 October 2019 respectively in relation to the suit filed by AirAsia Berhad ("AAB"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, together with an affiliate of the Company, AirAsia X Berhad (“AAX”), where Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn. Bhd. (“MASSB”) is named as the respondent.

We wish to announce that MASSB’s application to strike out AAB’s and AAX’s claim for the sum of RM479,781,285.00 was dismissed by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 25 March 2022. The Kuala Lumpur High Court has fixed the next Case Management for 4 April 2022.

Further announcements in respect of any material development on the matter will be made from time to time in compliance with the requirements of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
