REPORTING PROCEDURES
Capital A Berhad encourages Allstars and others to report comprehensive allegations including the nature of the event, involved parties, and supporting evidence via the official web channel or whistleblower@airasia.com. Matters involving Head of Internal Audit, C-Suite executives or directors should be sent directly to auditcommitteechairman@airasia.com for independent management.
HANDLING REPORTS
To ensure high standards of accountability, the Group evaluates all reports with the utmost seriousness and requires Allstars to provide full investigative cooperation. The formal process is structured as follows:
- Initial Response: The Relevant Function/Internal Audit (Investigation Unit) or the Audit Committee Chairman will acknowledge the complaint and provide a response to the reporting party within three working days of receipt.
- Case Management for Allstars: For allegations involving Allstars (excluding senior leadership), the Investigation Unit reviews reports and furnishes final investigation findings to the Head of Internal Audit, the Head of Employee Relations, and the relevant Department Head.
- Executive Oversight: Allegations involving the Head of Internal Audit, C-Suite executives, or directors are managed independently by the Audit Committee Chairman.
- Quarterly and Ad-Hoc Reporting: The Audit Committee receives quarterly updates on all reported cases and the outcomes of related investigations. In addition, any urgent or high-impact matters are promptly escalated to the Committee to ensure timely oversight and appropriate attention.
- Record Retention: All cases documentation is maintained in secured files with restricted access by the Head of Internal Audit and Investigation Unit for a period of seven years.
